March hare pouring the tea by cheshireINwonderland March hare pouring the tea by cheshireINwonderland
This mask I made entierly out of recycled materials. The base is a one gallon milk jug, part of it cut off and glued on to make the nose. Then there is a layer of newspaper, and two plastic balls, over that is an old pillow case glued in a way that gives it a wrinckled effect. Over that I used acrylic paint.

I first read the Alice in Wonderland books in middle school and have loved Wonderland ever since. The tea party scene will forever be iconic in our scociety, and the idea of a very merry unbirthday is pure genious. The March hare is an underated character who I have not yet done in art, so I thought he was due a tribute. I spent a week on this mask and had my sister help me with the photos. I wish I had more time though, but I'd like to do the white rabbit next and I'll give that more time.

It looked like there was no limit to how many you can submit so I'm going to submit all the good ones from our photoshoot, some ok ones will also be on my deviant art page.
